This is a great ukulele. It is laminate so it is great for travel, a starter uke, and for stability in all sorts of temperature and humidity conditions. But it is the stunning exotic mahogany model from Kala! So you get a pretty ukulele with a stunning flame pattern and a beautiful natural finish that really brings out the unique wood grain. It has the nice punchy and warm ukulele sound with the great build and quality that comes from Kala! It is a great look and sound at this price point.
As always, it will be set up with the same care that my high end ukes are set up with for easy and buzz free playability. The action will be comfortable and easy for beginners to fret and it will even make it easier to learn the more difficult barre chords. I think you will be very pleased with this uke!
