**This is a B-stock, or in other words Blemished model. The finish is less than perfect, but the build, playability, and stability of this ukulele is in no way compromised. I purchase these from the manufacturer on purpose to pass on the saving to customers who do not care about a small imperfection and want to save some money! Or for those who would like a nicer uke on a more limited budget. The only thing I noticed on this one is a possible imperfection in the spruce on the top. But it also could just be the nature of the spruce that put a little light line in it. But it will save you some money for something every so slight. There may be something I missed on this ukulele, but to my eye, that was all I noticed. But keep in mind there is a possibility of another small imperfection that went unnoticed by me. It will still get my 100% attention and the same great setup I give to all my ukuleles! So you will be getting a great ukulele at a cost savings to yourself!**

Spruce has a loud, crisp, bright tone with a lot of punch and attack. It has a HUGE sound in a little ukulele! The laminate willow back is sides is not only beautiful, but it makes this uke very stable in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions. It is a high quality laminate that still gives this uke a nice full, resonant, and punchy sound and most of the tone comes from the tonewood of the top. The Ohana sopranos are made with a slightly "fatty" body. A little deeper and a little fuller which really allows them to have a really great sound and warmth! It has a great feel and great playability at a great price! You will be very pleased with your ukulele. This is one of the favorite ukuleles of my customers. The willow is beautiful and the gloss finish really brings out the beautiful grain of these ukuleles!
